
Trenton graduated from the University of California Berkeley (Fall 2019), receiving his Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering. Through his graduate education, he expanded the breadth and depth of his technical knowledge, collaborated across disciplines, and strengthened his leadership & communication skills. His course selection was unique from his peers; centered around Environmental Fluid Mechanics, with additional courses in Economics, Statistics, and Spanish. His hard work was recognized across campus, receiving UC Berkeley CEE Departmental Award (Fall 2019) and the Department of Economics Outstanding GSI Award (Fall 2019).
Since graduating, Trenton has transitioned into the field of Coastal Engineering. Trenton is currently on a research fellowship (ORISE Fellowship) at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Field Research Facility in Duck, NC. His projects entail numerical modeling with CSHORE, a 1D process-based nearshore morphodynamic model, statistical modeling, and uncertainty quantification. In addition, Trenton passed the Civil Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) Exam (Fall 2020), moving him a step closer to a licensed professional engineer.
